India triumphed over Bangladesh by seven wickets in the first T20I in Gwalior, thanks to brilliant bowling performances from Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakaravarthy. Arshdeep set the stage early with 3 for 14, while Varun, returning to the Indian squad after three years, rattled Bangladesh’s middle order, picking up 3 for 31.
Arshdeep, now a veteran with 86 T20I wickets, took charge of India’s bowling attack.
