Maruti Suzuki Expands Road Safety Initiative in Uttar Pradesh, Automating 12 More Driving Test Tracks

Maruti Suzuki is ramping up its road safety efforts in Uttar Pradesh by automating 12 more driving test tracks across the state. This move is inspired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Yogi Adityanath
- The new automated tracks will be located in Aligarh, Azamgarh (2), Basti, Bareilly, Gonda, Jhansi, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, and Pratapgarh.
- These tracks will be used to test driving skills for two-wheelers, light motor vehicles (LMVs), and heavy motor vehicles (HMVs).
Previous Efforts:
- Maruti Suzuki has already automated 5 driving test tracks in Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Mathura, Prayagraj, and Varanasi.
The agreement between Maruti Suzuki and the Uttar Pradesh Transport Department was signed in December 2023.
