Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has taken the box office by storm, crossing a staggering ₹400 crore in worldwide gross box office collections within its first week. The film, which has captivated audiences with its unique blend of horror and comedy, continues to dominate theaters both in India and overseas.
The production house shared the exciting news on X, revealing that the film has earned ₹401 crore globally. Of this, the India gross box office collection stands at ₹342 crore, while the overseas gross box office has reached ₹59 crore. Breaking down the figures, Stree 2 collected ₹269.2 crore from Day 1 to Day 6, and added another ₹20.4 crore on Day 7 (Wednesday), bringing the total net collection in India to ₹289.6 crore.
The makers of the film expressed their gratitude to the audience, stating, “One astounding week of blockbuster success! Thank you, audience, for your love.”
