Electric vehicle enthusiasts in India have a reason to celebrate. VinFast has officially opened pre-bookings for its upcoming VF 7 and VF 6 models. The launch is set for August 2025, marking a significant milestone for VinFast in the Indian market. Both electric SUVs promise cutting-edge technology and impressive performance, tailored to meet local preferences.
The VinFast VF 7 is expected to be priced between INR 30 and INR 35 lakh, while the VF 6 could start from INR 18 to INR 24 lakh. These competitive prices position them as strong contenders in India’s growing EV segment. With rising fuel costs and increasing environmental awareness, these models could attract a wide range of buyers.
To boost accessibility, VinFast is expanding its dealership network across India. The company plans to have 32 showrooms operational in 27 cities, including major hubs like Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. By the end of 2025, this number is expected to grow to 35, ensuring better customer reach and service.
Pre-booking for these electric SUVs is already underway. Customers can reserve their preferred model either online through VinFast’s official website or by visiting a nearby showroom. A refundable amount of INR 21,000 is required to secure a booking. This move allows early adopters to get ahead of the crowd before the official launch.
Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, shared his excitement about the Indian market. He emphasized that the VF 6 and VF 7 are designed to meet local expectations while offering world-class electric mobility. The company aims to provide not just competitive pricing but also an inspiring driving experience.
The VinFast VF 7 is being marketed as a dynamic and spacious electric SUV. Key features include Level 2 ADAS, wireless charging, a panoramic glass roof, and a large touchscreen infotainment system. On the other hand, the VF 6 targets families with its blend of style, practicality, and smart technology. It boasts similar high-end features, including advanced driver assistance systems and smart connectivity.
Performance-wise, the VF 7 is expected to come with a 75.3kWh battery, delivering an impressive range of over 450 KM on a single charge. The VF 6, with its 59.6kWh battery, promises up to 440 KM. These figures make both models well-suited for both city commutes and long-distance travel.
With these launches, VinFast is making a strong entry into India’s electric vehicle market. The blend of affordability, advanced features, and a growing dealership network could make the VF 7 and VF 6 popular choices among Indian consumers. The company’s focus on local needs and global standards sets a promising tone for its future in the region.
