India Bike Week is set to return for its 13th edition on December 4 and 5, 2026. The festival will take place in Panchgani, Maharashtra for the second consecutive year after moving away from its long-time home in Goa. Organisers have confirmed that the venue will be 50 percent larger than last year, providing more parking space, additional grass areas, and a more comfortable experience with reduced dust while keeping the event's outdoor character.
Bigger venue and town takeover format
The 2026 edition expands beyond the main festival grounds with a "Town Takeover" format that spreads activities across Panchgani and the surrounding region. Official after-parties will be hosted at multiple locations in town, while local ride-outs and additional events will bring the festival deeper into the community. Improved road conditions leading to the hill station are expected to make travel more convenient for riders arriving from across the country.
Four racetracks and stunt arena
IBW 2026 will feature four dedicated racetracks where participants can compete for prize money of up to ₹12 lakh. The races include hill climb, flat track, and mud rush events, all accredited by FMSCI. Separate registration is required for each race, and riders will need an FMSCI licence, though a one-time licence can be obtained during sign-up. The Stunt Arena will return with a high-energy showcase that includes a surprise performance from an international athlete.
Custom bike competitions
The festival will host three major custom bike showcases. The Jameson Ginger Ale X IBW Bike Build-Off Competition gives amateur builders a motorcycle and a 50-day timeline to create a custom build within a specified budget. The winning builder will receive a new Harley-Davidson X440T and mentorship from Harsh Man Rai, Anand Dharmaraj, and Shail Sheth. The final winner will be announced at IBW, with the winning design showcased at the Adventure Bike Rider Festival 2027.
The Big Trip, curated by Candida Louis, will bring international overlanders to share stories from their global journeys. The Misfits Collection, curated by Yogi Chhabria, will feature unusual and unconventional motorcycles from across India. The Mod Bike Competition, judged by Arjun Raina, will highlight custom motorcycles and the craftsmanship behind them.
Rides to IBW and motorcycle transport
For riders travelling from other cities, the Rides to IBW initiative will organise group journeys from Bengaluru, Kochi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Ahmedabad in association with tour operators. The Arrive and Ride programme, in partnership with cargo carriers, will offer motorcycle transportation arrangements to Pune and Satara, with more details expected closer to the event.
Camping, expo, and accommodation
The Festival Campsite will offer cliffside views, dedicated spaces for SUV campers, permanent toilet facilities, and access to after-parties. The IBW Expo will feature more than 100 retailers selling riding gear, accessories, motorcycle products, and upgrades. IBW is also working with the Panchgani Hotel Association on stay packages and accommodation options for those preferring hotels.
Ticket prices and early bird offers
Early Bird ticket sales begin on September 12, 2026, with 35 percent more value on festival passes. The offer is limited to the first 3,000 buyers. The Early Bird Day Pass costs ₹1,999 and includes one-day festival entry plus ₹250 in food and beverage vouchers. The Early Bird Weekend Pass is priced at ₹2,799 and includes two-day entry, ₹250 in F&B vouchers, and an IBW Kit. The Early Bird Platinum Pass at ₹7,000 adds VIP experience, complimentary F&B, 10 percent discount on official merchandise, VIP parking, and the IBW Kit.
Bulk bookings of 10 to 15 passes are available at ₹2,699 per pass with two-day entry, ₹250 F&B vouchers, and IBW Kit. Club Passes for groups of 25 or more cost ₹2,699 per pass and include two-day entry, IBW Kit, ₹250 F&B tokens, and a Club Village Tent. Organisers have clarified that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable this year.
What to expect beyond the main events
Over 250 brands are expected to participate, including motorcycle manufacturers, riding gear companies, and custom parts suppliers. Live music will run across three stages throughout the festival, though the artist line-up has not yet been announced. Test rides of the latest motorcycles from various brands will be available. The festival is open to all enthusiasts, and owning a motorcycle is not a requirement to attend.
