Ola Electric Launches Roadster Pro Electric Motorcycle: 8kWh and a 16kWh model
Ola Electric has unveiled its latest innovation, the Roadster Pro electric motorcycle, marking a significant leap in the electric vehicle market. The Roadster Pro is available in two variants: an 8kWh model priced at Rs 2 lakh and a 16kWh model priced at Rs 2.5 lakh, both ex-showroom.
Powering the Roadster Pro is a robust 52kW electric motor that delivers an impressive 105Nm of peak torque. This powerhouse enables the 16kWh variant to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 1.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 194 km/h. On a single charge, the 16kWh battery offers a remarkable range of 579 km, setting a new benchmark for electric motorcycles
The Roadster Pro’s design features a steel frame with the battery housed where one would typically find an internal combustion engine (ICE). The bike is equipped with an upside-down fork (USD) and a monoshock for suspension, while braking is managed by dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear, with ABS as standard.
• Roadster Pro: ₹2 lakh (8kWh), ₹2.5 lakh (16kWh)
• Roadster: ₹1.05 lakh (3.5kWh), ₹1.20 lakh (4.5kWh), ₹1.40 lakh (6kWh)
• Roadster X: ₹75,000 (2.5kWh), ₹85,000 (3.5kWh), ₹1 lakh (4.5kWh)
Ola Electric has packed the Roadster Pro with cutting-edge features, including a 10-inch TFT touchscreen display and four riding modes: Hyper, Sport, Normal, and Eco, along with two customizable modes. Future updates via the MoveOS 5 software will introduce advanced features like three-step traction control, anti-wheelie, geofencing, and ADAS.
Reservations for the 8kWh variant will open on August 15, with deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of FY 2026. The Ola Roadster Pro is poised to redefine the electric motorcycle segment in India, offering a compelling blend of performance, range, and technology.
