Tata Motors has announced substantial price reductions across its electric vehicle (EV) and internal combustion engine (ICE) portfolio as part of its ‘Festival of Cars’ campaign. The company has introduced discounts of up to ₹3 lakh on the Nexon EV and ₹1.2 lakh on the Punch EV, offering a significant push towards making electric vehicles more accessible.
For a limited period, Tata has aligned the prices of its popular Nexon EV and Punch EV models closer to their ICE counterparts, with the Nexon EV now starting at ₹12.49 lakh and the Punch EV at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, the Tiago EV is also part of the offer, further narrowing the price gap between electric and petrol versions.
Alongside the price cuts, Tata is offering customers six months of no-cost charging at over 5,500 Tata Power charging stations across India, making the transition to EVs even more attractive.
Tata has also announced festive discounts on its ICE models. The Tiago compact hatchback now starts at ₹4.99 lakh, with reductions of up to ₹65,000 depending on the variant. The Tigor sedan begins at ₹5.99 lakh with price cuts of up to ₹30,000, and the Nexon compact SUV starts at ₹7.99 lakh, with savings reaching up to ₹80,000. Larger vehicles like the Harrier and Safari are also available at lower prices, with discounts of up to ₹1.6 lakh and ₹1.8 lakh, respectively.
The ‘Festival of Cars’ campaign runs until October 31, 2024, providing buyers a chance to take advantage of these significant savings across Tata’s range.
